1st General Set
Welcome to the 2014 Sidewalk Showcase and Annual Classic Rock Extravaganza! This was truly our greatest live show ever, both in terms of the quality and complexity of the songs as well as the sheer number and variety of the selections. The show featured 8 of our veteran student-performers: Cody Clark (guitar & bass), Daniel Kinison (bass), Evan Larson (bass), C.J. Moffit (guitar), Victoria Rabonza (bass), Ryan Sinclair (guitar), Carter Slocum (guitar), Richard Young (guitar) - and introduced 6 new student-performers to the concert series: William Collins (guitar & vocals), Jake Kuhlemeier (guitar), Pranesh Kumar (guitar), Chris Theobald (vocals), Shannon Theobald (vocals), Vincent "Vinny" Zappulla (guitar). The song selections throughout the entire show display an impressive range of styles and energy levels and really show-off the students' capabilities, not only as ensemble performers, but as skilled soloists! The concert kicks-off with this thrilling 4-song opening set featuring classic tunes by America, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, and The Moody Blues!
We had a great crowd of family and friends in attendance and the weather was perfect! A very special Thank You to Eric Larson (Evan's dad) and David Sinclair (Ryan's dad) for capturing the video footage of the show, Dana Tapp (owner of Tapp's Music) for preparing the venue and supplying the sound equipment, and C.J. Moffit for being our sound wizard - You guys rock!!
